Global Sounds 2026

SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH I 4:30 – 10PM I UPLAND PARK

Join us for the fourth annual Global Sounds Music Festival — a free community celebration of music, arts, and culture produced by Omaha Performing Arts and Canopy South!

Our stacked lineup of local and national artists kicks off at 4:30 PM and keeps the energy going all night until the fireworks finale at 10 PM. Whether you’re the type to kick back and relax with a cold drink or end up dancing under the sunset, this event is for you — come as you are, because there’s something for everyone at Global Sounds.

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, coolers (BYOB – beer and wine only), and your favorite people for an unforgettable evening at the park.

Come hungry — locally owned food trucks will be serving tacos, arepas, pupusas, and more throughout the event. Global Sounds is designed for the whole family, with free interactive activities for kids and families from 4:30–7 PM. We can’t wait to see you there!

Free parking is available at the The Salvation Army Kroc Center Omaha (2825 Y Street) — just follow the yard signs and balloons! Concert entrance is at Upland Park near 30th Street and Upland Parkway.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this year’s Global Sounds Music Festival a success! From supporting family partners to helping guests find their way around, volunteers play a huge role in creating a welcoming and fun experience for everyone.

Each shift is only two hours, so you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the festival, music, food trucks, and festivities! Volunteers will receive a Global Sounds t-shirt and a $10 food truck voucher.
