Spring Pop Up
In the Fall/Winter of 2020, a comprehensive Needs Assessment was provided to every Southside Terrace household. Of the households that responded, 61% indicated that their child does not participate in an enrichment activity. In order to better understand what activities youth are interested in, the CNP Steering Committee hosted an event. The Spring Pop Up was held on April 29th, 2021 outside the CNP Satellite Office in order to gather feedback and recommendations targeting youth programming and career interests.
Youth participants were asked to complete a survey while, adults were asked provide recommendations for how they would like to leverage $50,000 in physical improvements throughout the neighborhood. Following the survey, youth were asked to vote on their top three career fields.
This feedback will help inform new programming opportunities that will ultimately strengthen the cradle-to-career pipeline. Interested in seeing the results? The full report can be found here.
